Ever feel like you’re standing on the edge of your own life? Sure, you dip a toe in here or there, but have you ever actually jumped in? I’ve been there. It’s nice and quiet and safe. But, it’s also lonely and hungry. What if that could change? What if you decided right now to jump in.
Several months ago I made that choice and literally jumped…out of a plane. I tasted something that was irresistible and I wanted more. It was more than just an adrenaline rush. I had done something I never thought I could do. What else was I capable of? So, I started a challenge to complete 101 things in 1001 days and crossed off my first goal…go skydiving.
I knew then and there that I had the power to change the way I was living. I wanted to tell everyone, like I had discovered the world’s best kept secret, you can do this too! I wanted them to feel that wildness that I was experiencing in their own lives.
Maybe, I should write a blog? I joked. Maybe turned into a should…into I could…into Wild for Awhile. Based on my 101 goals, I’ll be sharing ideas, tips, inspiration, challenges, and a whole lot more.
My main goal is, and always will be, to create a space that inspires you to live an authentic and wild life. For me, that means doing things even though I might fail, challenging myself to do something for 30 days, or waking up at 6 am. Yours might be taking that trip you’ve been dreaming about, asking someone out, or finally decluttering your desk.
Being wild is a choice: To be vulnerable, to challenge yourself, to grow. It might last for a second, for days, or for awhile. That is up to you. No matter what it means to you, I want to connect and hear all about your wild adventures.
I hope you’ll join me. Together, we can be wild for awhile.
