101 THINGS IN 1001 DAYS – An update on my goals

I can hardly believe I’m already over 180 days into my challenge to complete 101 things in 1001 days!  If this challenge has done one thing, it’s reminded me that time passes quickly.  Whether you are working towards your goals or not, the time will pass.  Make good use of your time.

Here’s a quick update on what I’ve accomplished so far, and what I have coming up.

101 Things in 1001 days goals update

Goals Completed: 18/101

I’m pretty proud of this list.  That’s 18 goals that I wouldn’t have accomplished had I not started this challenge, and there are some pretty big ones on there.  I’m going to delve a little deeper in some of these that I’ve accomplished, so stayed tuned for future posts!

So now that I’ve crossed off a chunk of my list, what do I plan on tackling next?  Glad you asked! Upcoming Goals

  • Journal daily for 30 days
  • Create my own sacred space
  • Take family photos
  • Document a day in the life
  • Pay for the customer behind me
  • Attend a book reading by the author
  • Walk 70,000 steps in a week
  • Create a will
  • Write a love letter
  • Donate to a cause I believe in
  • Shoot a gun
  • Ghost tour Salt Lake City
  • Color an entire coloring book

I’m really excited about what I have coming up.  I’ll be covering a few of them in depth as I work on them.  First up, I’ll be sharing some tips and advice for participating in NANOWRIMO.  If you’ve never heard of it, the month of November is National Novel Writing Month.  Participants across the world glue themselves to their keyboards and paper and write a full, 50,000 word novel in 30 days.  It sounds crazy, and it is!  I’ve participated 3 times.  I’ve won twice and I’m determined to win again.  If you’re interested in joining in, I’ve started a  Wild for Awhile writing group!
